Composition

VOLCANIC SUBSTRATE FOR ROOF GARDENS, URBAN STREET FURNITURE AND VERTICAL GREENERY

Fertile volcanic substrate consisting of a mixture of natural volcanic materials (pumices and lapilli), blond peat and/or organic substances with humus (like composted vegetable material) and mixture of slow release fertilizer pellets.

In function of the kind of greening application (extensive or intensive) and the carrying capacity of the covering, it is possible to choose between these different types:

  • VULCAFLOR INTENSIVE: fertile volcanic substrate consisting of a mixture of natural volcanic materials (pumices and lapilli of which approximately 70% volcanic lapillus and 30% pumice with a grain size of 0-10 mm), organic substance (like blonde peat of medium grain size) and/or organic substance with humus (on request) and mixture of slow release fertilizer pellets.
  • VULCAFLOR EXTENSIVE: fertile volcanic substrate consisting of a mixture of natural volcanic materials (pumices and lapilli of which approx. 90% volcanic lapillus and 10% pumice with a grain size of 0-10 mm), organic substance like blond peat of medium grain size.
  • VULCAFLOR LIGHT: fertile volcanic substrate consisting of a mixture of natural volcanic materials (pumices and lapilli of which approximately 20% volcanic lapillus and 80% pumice with a grain size of 3-7 mm), organic substance (like blonde peat of medium grain size) and/or organic substance with humus (on request) and mixture of slow release fertilizer pellets.
  • VULCAFLOR ZEO: fertile volcanic substrate consisting of a mixture of natural volcanic materials (pumices, lapilli and zeolites in a percentage of approximately 20%), organic substance such as blonde peat of medium grain size and mixture of slow release fertilizer pellets.

FUNCTIONAL PROPERTIES:
– VULCAFLOR is a finished product, soft textured, free form toxic or dangerous substances and weed seeds.
– VULCAFLOR is a ideal substrate for the construction of green roofs, flower boxes and every type of realization in the green where a reduced intervention of maintenance is required.
– VULCAFLOR INTENSIVE for usable roof gardens
– VULCAFLOR EXTENSIVE for lightweight roof gardens requiring reduced maintenance
– VULCAFLOR LIGHT pumpable for usable intensive roof gardens pable for usable intensive roof garden
– VULCAFLOR ZEO for INTENSIVE green roofs; with high C.E.C. and the function of improving the development of the root system and the physical-chemical fertility; reduction of fertilizer use and excess acidity and salinity.

Contains no active limestone and no Free Crystalline Silica (non-toxic product).
