Filtrations

Pumice, Lapilli, and Zeolites are filtering raw materials due to their alveolar nature, which forms a natural sponge and, depending on the type and grain size of the mineral, they can absorb various pollutant molecules or retain them for controlled release over time.

Main uses:

• ZEOLITE BIOFILTERS
  Water treatment through filtration with Zeolite.

 

• FILTRATION OF INDUSTRIAL AND FARM WATER
  Treatment with Volcanic Lapilli.

 

• FILTRATION OF DRINKING WATER
  Ammonium removal with Pumice, Dried Pumice, and selective filtration through cation exchange with Zeolite.

 

• FILTRATION OF ATMOSPHERIC EMISSIONS
  Retention of odorous gases and pollutant molecules; adjuvant activated carbon with Pumice and Micronized Zeolite.
