POMICAL is a mixture of Pumice (alveolar product of remarkable lightness and high insulating properties resulting from the natural expansion of effusive magmatic mineral) with a particle size distribution curve of 0-8 mm or 0-14 mm, used in the production of lightweight thermo-insulating and soundproof concret e with a low specific weight and is easily pumped. This is an ecological product that contains no Free Crystalline Silica.

Performance characteristics of the concrete: POMICAL**

A LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE is obtained when using POMICAL 0/8 or 0/14, cement, water and any additives and is characterized by good compressive strength (approx. resistance to compression (RCK) 10 N/mm²), lightweight (dry density of approx. 1,000 kg/m³), thermal conductivity λ = 0.164 W/(mK), good sound insulation, transpirability (μ = 4), excellent workability, fire resistant, extremely easy to pump, no Bleeding, durability, ecological, excellent appearance of the visible surface.


Performance characteristics of the concrete: STRUCTURAL POMICAL***

A LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE is obtained when using Pomical for Structural Use 28 and 44, cement, water and any additives and is characterized by: lightweight (dry density less than 2,000 kg/m³), compressive strength (RCK varies between 28 and 44 N/mm² depending on the cement content and water / binder ratio), good thermal conductivity (λ = 0.16 W/mK) and good sound insulation, transpirability (μ = 4), excellent workability, fire resistant, extremely easy to pump, no Bleeding, durability, ecological, excellent appearance of the visible surface.
