DRIED

PUMICE is the result of the natural extension of effusive magmatic mineral that has generated an alveolar product of remarkable lightness, with high porosity, great water retention, slow release of liquids and high thermal and acoustic insulating properties.
The advantage of having a naturally expanded lightweight product involves maintaining the open cell alveolar structure, a unique feature of the pumice extracted in the Tuscany and Lazio mining area.
The subsequent kiln drying and sieving enables a product, the DRIED PUMICE, to be obtained that is free from natural humidity and suitable for many fields of application such as:

– Lightweight aggregate/inert for mortars and premixes products
– Support for chemical products
– Filtration and absorption of industrial oils and liquids
– Soft abrasives
– Paints and coatings
– Thermal insulation and dehumidifying plasters
– Hand cleaner paste
– Dentistry
– Road Absorption (Died Pumice 200-850µm and 850-3000µm)

MICRONIZED

Through subsequent refining, micronized Pumice and different types of Zeolite are produced, such as Chabasite and Clinoptilolite 0-20 microns, corroborating agents suitable for use in organic farming.

Micronized Zeolites are natural volcanic minerals with a high and selective cation exchange power which improve the resistance of plants to biotic and abiotic stresses, and which are ideal for:

– Treatment of leaves for the protection against insects and pathogens
– Neutralization of harmful elements, ammonium, heavy metals and organic molecules
– Absorption of odorous gases, ammonia, hydrogen sulphide, mercaptans

Micronized Pumice is ideal for paints and coatings and for thermal insulation and dehumidifying plasters.
